Alert: Watch List Addition

[Throughout the season, I will post "alerts" on players based on performance and/or situations changing. I will divide these into two alerts: Watch List - add this guy to your "scout team" or just keep him in mind for the future, and Add Now - pick this guy up ASAP if you can.]

Watch List Addition: Deji Karim, RB, Jax

Deji Karim is a little-known running back in Jacksonville. Despite his low profile, he has just become the #2 RB for the Jaguars after Rashad Jennings was proclaimed out for the season with a knee injury.

Karim mainly returned kicks last year and was slated for the same role this season. He has outstanding burst and pad level and runs with an incredible drive in his lower body. In many ways, he is a clone of Maurice Jones-Drew as a younger player.

Karim could very likely wind up with significant playing time this season, especially if the public's concern about MJD's knees is well-founded. Keep an eye on him and pounce at the first sign of a limp from Jones-Drew.
